Composition : Pantoprazole 40mg Gastro-Resistant Tablets I.P
Description : Tropopan 40mg belongs to the class of drugs known as Proton pump inhibitors which reduces the amount of acid your stomach makes. It treats gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), stomach ulcer, Zollinger-Ellison syndrome (overproduction of acid due to a pancreatic tumour), duodenal ulcer, gastric ulcer .Tropopan40mg helps in reducing stomach acid by blocking the actions of an enzyme . This proton pump lies in the cells of the stomach wall responsible for the release of gastric acid secretion damaging tissues in the food pipe, stomach and duodenum. Tropopan40mg prevents the release of stomach acid and relieves symptoms of food pipe lining inflammation (esophagitis) and gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). Tropopan 40mg is safe for pregnant and breastfeeding mothers but should be taken only after consulting a doctor. Tell your doctor if you have stomach or intestinal cancer, liver problem, are allergic to Pantoprazole or will have an endoscopy in the future.
Directions for Use: Swallow it as a whole with water; do not crush, break or chew it. Liquid: Shake the bottle well before use. Take the prescribed dose by mouth using the measuring cup/dosing syringe/dropper provided by the pack. Oral granules (for children): Check the label for directions before use. Mix the granules in apple juice or applesauce and make the child swallow.
Storage: Store in a cool and dry place away from sunlight.
Side Effects: Headache, Diarrhoea, Nausea, Abdominal pain,Vomiting.
